Maralee Willis became the Director of Operations with Brent Shunk, CLU, CLTC in January of 2011.  She is responsibile for the office operations in Springfield as well as guiding, directing, and managing representatives and staff.  Maralee began her career with Northwestern Mutual in May of 2006 working as an Associate Financial Representative for one financial representative and then continued her education and training to become securities registered in 2007. 

Maralee, her husband, Tyler, and their daughter, Macie, live near Greenview, Illinois where they have a family farming operation.

After graduating from the University of Illinois in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Chad immediately obtained is Health and Life License and began working as a s Financial Representative for Northwestern Mutual.  After becoming investment licensed, Chad transitioned into the role of Investment Specialist in 2007.  In this position, Chad consulted with many of the Representatives in his office, helping them create financial solutions for their clients.  In January of 2009, Chad transitioned from the field to an internal role.  As Investment Operations Manager, Chad aids the Representatives in delivering financial products and services to their clients on a daily basis.

Chad and his wife Stephanie live in Springfield and are die-hard Illinois fans.

April Womack joined Northwestern Mutual in September of 2010. As an Associate Financial Representative, she assists new financial representatives in case preparation, running life insurance illustrations, and monitoring the underwriting process.

April is married to her husband Steve, and they have 2 children, Evan and Jacob. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, reading, and cheering for the Steelers.

Audra Johnson joined the Northwestern Mutual team in March of 2011 as the Agency Assistant. She obtained her Life and Health license to become an Associate Financial Representative in July of 2011. Audra assists financial representatives with case notes, creating files for clients, service work, technical support, as well as serving as the agency receptionist. 

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from Hannibal-LaGrange University. Before joining Northwestern Mutual, Audra worked for the home office of Kerasotes Showplace Theatres in the concession department and taught English and journalism at HLGU.

Audra is very active in her church, serving in the youth ministry, choir, and Deaconess board. She is also an avid writer of youth devotionals and poetry.
